Photographer’s Note
Ivatans are the locals in the Islands of Batanes, Philippines. These young boys try to catch fish with their long fishing rods made of the local materials such as a thin wooden stick and a steel hook. A video teaser of Batanes is found in my blog: rommeldiazphotography.blogspot.com.
