Well...this is a nice scene. The compo could be better, but the daily life aspect of this image is shown perfectly. The background is OK and the people are placed perfectly in the frame. Not much to nit pick here...quite an interesting shot. Well done.

Great composition Alfond. I like the how the composition is in lines...lines of rice, lines of water and lines of people. It's a shame some of the people are standing (breaking the pattern of hats facing the camera)

Very interesting photo. In terms of showing life in your country, this is a perfect shot. As an artistic photo, you could do it better I think. I also wanted to take photos of rice planting people in Japan, but I was way too busy around the season. Now the season is over...

Hi Alford, A nice working scene. A nice composition to have the dividers of the rice paddies zigzag leading our view from the foreground to the background. A well taken picture with clarity and depth. Well done.

Hi Alford, great daily life shot, very dynamic. You manage to capture the most of the farmers at the right moment bending and planting the rice plants. There is a natural symmetry in the composition with all these horizontal lines (both the farmers and the fields). The colours are nice and vivid, particularly the green one. Well captured!

What a beautiful daily life picture, also the traditional of you country with this rice field, fifty years ago here in Belgium also working for everything, together children and women, not in rice but other plant. Excellent colours and lovely composition.

this is magnificent. the leaves are so sharp. the colours are excellent. the diagonal rice field banks cuts through the picture into a beautiful piece. you are good alford.

many years ago, i was doing same! it has no fun at all! just exhausted....and even some animals can climb on your legs suck your blood..... bad memory! it was my childhood. i would never forget and i would never do so again in all my life time....
