Hi Alford, An excellent portrait of the farmer. The toughness and the hardworking are written on his face. It is interesting to see the material he has used in protecting himself. The background well reflect the working environment and it is beautiful scene. Also, I like the frame to this photo.

The aturated green at the background highlights the face, the sharpness is great and the colors are stunning. I also like the off-centered portrait and the figure in white on the far right catches the eye and decorates this beautiful shot. Very wel done, Alford.

Hi Alford. I like this portrait so much because you include so much background into the shot. I guess would say because of that the DOF is outstanding. It's interesting to see how they improvise and your note sheds good light on that subject. The greens are great as well. Very nice one Alford!

Hi Alford, nice portrait, I like the facial expression of this peasant. It looks like they have to work very hard to harvest the fields, you can see that on his face. I like the shallow dof which brings out the farmer from the green fields in the background. The same green fields put this farmer in the context and due to that it's not so hard to guess this man's line of work. I find the colours very appealing. Well done!

A nice portrait with a great background you show...
his look is deep towards far out of frame,and farms/fields in his back are symbolic for where and how that he works very hard in a wide ground.

i like the character of this subject. how do you get some a close crop? did you have a willing subject? great colourfull backdrop.
