Photographer’s Note
The two wooden statues at the background are called "Bulol".
It gives a primordial presence of the region and serves more than the purpose of guarding the barn and the household. The bulol, whose image changes from province to province, is indicative also of relations and geographic origin.
As the bulol transmogrified, so did the costume, the weapons, and the musical instruments. The changes vary from color, to length to physical designs, but the basic purpose and inspiration stem from its close connection to the earth. For the early inhabitants, the earth is life, and the cycle of life and death begins and ends with the earth.

These women pose for picture with a fee, they may look old but are still striking to look at in their costume, am just wondering where the young ones are.

Dear Czaldy,
Lovely colours. Beautifully captured. A bit too light in the far background but does not affect the overal picture. Thank you for the note.

Hi Czaldy,
I really like this photo.
The POV is good (the beautifull landscape helps :D) and the contrast between the landscape's cooler colors and the typical clothing's warmer colors is quite nice.
The picture is quite a bit overexposed and it lacks a bit of definition in some parts, but nothing a bit of post-processing can't correct ;) I'll post a workshop with a little more details..
Congratulations,
Bruno

Hi Czaldy! The colors, clothes and their looks are really attractive. IMHO, you should have moved closer to avoid the white sky and get more focus on their faces. BTW, I have a similar photo of them in my gallery. rgds.
