Photographer’s Note
Banaue is the center of the terraces but for more excitement we travelled two hours from the town (rough ride my friend.. but a lot of fun) to see another municipality of wondrous deeds from the ancient Ifugaos, the terraces of Batad. And I was struck on this setting. A house built on a slope that is 3,000 ft above ground level. I was wondering how "fear" haunts the family's everyday life.
It's a kind of life where coping up with fear is passion and randomness of death is beauty!
