The Ifugao Rice Terraces Photo

Photographer’s Note

I've never been this so happy in my life! In my 10 years of travelling within the islands Philippines.. . I could say that "Rice Terraces" is the most breathtaking view (in my hometown the Chocolate Hills, Bohol is now second best). It is there in that hidden beauty of the country where the first Ifugaos came to create such a natural treasure that is being handed down from generation to generation... the rice terraces. Created by hands... by heart. They respect and understand what nature wants it to be and so it pays homage!

My fellow TEs, come to the Philippines and visit the Ifugao Rice Terraces!

Great POV. It is nice how the eye can travel from the center and gradually move off into the distance on the left. I really hope these terraces remain for many generations to come as they represent such a wonderful adaption to unique environment.

It is superb this mountain carved in terraces. The colors are very pleasant. I like to see the torrent which digs and circumvents the hills. A very beautiful image. Cheer.

beautiful scenery of this protected heritage site!
the luminance range is large and details all seen well. i wonder tho if you have oversharpened it, huh?
