Photographer’s Note
Callao Cave, located in Penablanca town, Cagayan province, is one of the best caves to explore in the Philippines. The cave has 7 chambers and numerous crevices that allow natural light to get into the cave. This photo shows the chapel that was built inside the cave's 2nd chamber. The highlighted portion at the left side of the photo is due to light coming down from the crevice above. The cave entrance is the opening at the background.

Hello Alford,
That looks very surreal! Why did they make a chapel in the cave? Does that date back from a time where Christianity was not that appreciated in the area? Or just the use of the cave as it is?
Anyhow, a very interesting photograph you got here!
Enjoy your weekend!
