Photographer’s Note
Another boy from the neighborhood we met while walking home. He heard us walking down the street and poked his head out to see what was going on.

A nice shot of the boy David, especially in this unusual pose. His bright eyes immediately drew me into the picture. I also wonder where he has come from behind this dilapidated fence. Welcome to TE :-)

I like the expression you've captured on the boy's face. Curiosity and awe, plus the underlying playfullness of youth, unmindful of the dreary situation he may be living in. (rusted galvanized iron fence being his backdrop) Great first post, and welcome to TE!
You may think of adding some more background info on the notes area, so viewers would know more about your posts.
Cheers,

Welcome to TE, Rowland. A warm portrait, in a compo that brings out well the "peek-a-boo-ness" of the encounter.

love this one. The boy has a glow on his face like he is really enjoying the moment.

Hi David! You must be used already to this right? People coming out to see you when they hear foreigners talking :) I like the curiosity on the boy's face, and the rusty fence do show what type of neighborhood he is in - a typical rural scene. Great shot! rgds.
