[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
She emerged from the tricycle in Daet with no purse or bag, only a P20 note in her hand.

Then I saw the look on her face - and it occurred to me that on this particular day she wasn't travelling light at all. She had something heavy on her mind!

Apologies for the quality, I'd had the camera for less than a week and it was shot through a restaurant window as well!

Hi Rew
Wow, this one is very touchy. Many times we just pass by people in trouble and we do not notice them, sometime we avoid them. This one is very good and I have to congratulate you the reflex.
Cheers
Roman

hi rew;
perfect shot!..
excellent work.
well done.

Hi Rew,
Nicely composed image!
I like to read what you read into the situation... may not be wrong at all, but then it can be something entirely different!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Rew. God only knows what her story is. I get the impression it may not be a pretty one. Excellent capture on your part and a powerful social commentary. Regards. Klaudio

hi rew, all things considered you got the mood hands down.

you have been to more exotic places than i have.

mabuhay!

Hi Rew - yes, it's a bit noisy but it's still an intriguing shot, her facial expression doesn't have the air of a happy person at all, so it makes me wonder what was on her mind. In these situations it's not a case fo a shot having to be perfect technically, it's more important to get a useable image, which you've done here.

Hi Rew
Really well captured girl in a rut :[
As to her standing, so to speak, so limp and hopeless, thatwe perfectly feel; and it concludes what the sulky pout (so it looks, regardless of her plight) and dangling hair was suggesting.
But it's really a Bad Streak (she gave with keys? No, she's got no keys) on the pickup behind.
Cheers, F' (out of...)

Hi Rew,
Well seen, well framed. One of those pictures that puts me thinking. And excellent titile. Harmonous colours too.

hey Rew, great shot you spotted, despite the grainy quality, the compo and POV are great. I think you were quite lucky in getting that strange contrast between her mood and the ying-yang symbol of the wheel behind her; black and white even seem to dominate in her clothes and the tricyle. TFS and "mabrouk" for the new cam :)
Betty

Hi Rew
nice portrait, I like how the mood has been captured.
good job

Rahul

You've captured an excellent moment here and a really good note about the shot as well! Regards, Doug

Very suggestive. I like your approach. You have insight. She does seem weighed down. Sometimes the theme is more important than technical excellence.
Salil

reportive note to an emotive shot

The grainy quality is noticeable but this is no problem for me as the shot is great. You have conveyed the sadness in the girl's face quite well. Good framing and a crucial moment to catch. Well done.
Aubrey

Excellent composition and colours ! You have captured a great moment !

Andreea

I think you are right she has somethign heavy weighing her down. I like the colourtones and lines here, espcailly her clothes and the pavement.

Very nice compo, don't worry about the quality!
Pavement and stripes on her clothes, bluesy mood, she seems to carry something heavy, for sure.
Have a good day.

Joel

As Betty noted,
It's nice how both her shirt and the yin-yang symbol employ black and white. Also funny to find that symbol on a hubcap.
Her mood is nicely captured; you did a fine job.
Raluca

Hi friend,
