Photographer’s Note
This is a Pakistani practice to celebrate the birth of Guru Nanak, who is the spirutual leader of the sikh comunity in Pakistan.
Every year the Sikh community in India and Pakistan and other parts of the world celebrate and pay homage to this holy figure who believed in one Almightly and preached that He can always be found in our prayers and on the path of righteousness.

It is a part of the celebration to color donkeys? Uhm...well...ok...
Thanks for sharing this with the rest of the world who might know donkeys just in boring grey.

Moncef, this is a very interesting practice (well... I wouldn't say so if I were a donkey, expecially in Pakistan!). Nice and funny picture. Ciao, Marco.
