Hello, Neal--
i like what you were going for here, framing the green of the countryside with the bright yellows of the near leaves. The sliver of light illuminating the trees on the near ridge is nice as well, giving some separation between the ridge and the distant mountain. The scan looks like it could have been a little bit higher quality, though. Also, because of the great distance through which you were shooting, the background has experienced a cool shift toward the blue end of the spectrum. A warming filter or some post-processing would probably help a little bit.
