Life in downtown Lahore...in the background is the Regal Cinema. Pakistan once had a thriving film industry, so much so that Lollywood rivalled Mumbai's Bollywood. But it has since gone into terminal decline, for reasons that are hard to understand or to explain.

Hello Ryno. The photo shows a world of full contrasts: traditional way of life and the illusion of the pictures. War night 3 shows that it of the "beautiful" film already 3. Continuation gives. This one is great too....How were 'War Night and War Night 2'? Did you see them? It would be a good shot with just the billboard but with these three characters in their donkey cart it seems quite interewsting indeed

Olá Ryno, good timing in capturing the cart passing by. It makes an excellent foreground for the Regal Cinema background. I didn't know about the Lollywood, which is interesting. While in India, I tried to go to a Bollywood cinema, mostly for the atmosphere, but it just never happened. Good post!
