One of the many shots i tried with moving cars in Balakat, and i think this one is quite decent. It shows how people travel on a car in the country! :-)
Balakat is a small town in the north-west frontier province of pakistan. It is one of the most severly hit towns by the earthquake of October 2005.
Note that the wild plants grown on the sides of the road are the same as those grown all over the hills and mountains: marijuanna.

Very colourfull, speaks of local ways of life, I like the car's colour too, very kitsch, reminds me of the flamboyant colours you can come across in certain indian restaurants in London.

Hi Kourosh. Very interesting about the marijuana, I just read Mr. Nice, which is sort of a biography of one of the biggest marijuana dealers in the world in the early 90s, he got some of his product from Pakistan too. I didn't realize that is was quite as common as it appears though. British Columbia is also world famous for its production, but they at least do their best not to make it obvious.
On to the photo: This is quite a good shot. It is much more difficult to try to capture a decent hsot of an overloaded vehicle; I have tried it in almost every country I have visited and I am not sure I have ever succeeded. One thing I might like to see is if you could have shot the truck from a greater angle, by moving slightly to your left, or waiting just a little longer. I think this might have helped eliminate the space on the side, which isn't really adding to the photo for me. Interesting that the spare tire seems to have seen better days, no much tread left on any of the tires.

Hi Kourosh! This is a fine composition, this is a image that tells a little story.
Kitsh is indeed a cultural form of expression in that region.
I enjoy the Jeep's 'proud owner' face, smiling to the camera!
It's true that a image worths a thousand words but if it wasn't for your commnet I would never realised that there is marijuanna growing on the edge of the road!!... on the edge of the road... :D
Big smile for you, SÚrgio

Sorry I don't care much about this one, looks very stiff and "flat" for what I would expect a moving experience, both motion and coronary wise.
If you ask me, not enough drama in the way you've shot, you went too quiet at it, flat neutral angle, with a classical framing having people taking time to look at your lens, looks like the football team photos that are taken before each match, here's Zidane sitting at the wheel... whereas it demanded a more spectacular approach. You weren't close and wide enough, I'd expect something hair raising with wild perspectives and packed with people, maybe some tilt and upwards shot would work fine here.
