Every year University of Balochistan in Quetta organises a week of cultural and sports show to promote ethnic harmony amongst its various ethnic entities and to encourage students to participate actively in sports events. This cultural/sports week is known as "Golden Week". In this tent/stall we see both Hazara and Pashtoon people. Usually people from one ethnic group visit other ethnic group's stand/stall/tent and get served with tea/cold drink or any other traditional meal.

Unfortunately over the last few years the situation regarding ethnic tension has greatly deteriorated due to intolerant religious elements who foment only hatred between the people who subscribe to different religious schools of thought or who are of different ethnic background!
