Photographer’s Note
Here is a view of Chitral Town, in Pakistan's NWFP. in the background you can see mighty Tirich Mir "Father of the Mountains", highest peak in the Hindu Kush, at 7706 meters. Chitral is great town and area, people are exceptionnaly nice and welcoming and there are loads of amazing places to visit. Especially reknowned from Chitral are Polo and apricots (many different strains, for this fruit actually originates from Pakistan mountains). My fabourite are little yellow ones, honey-like tasting, yum yum ! Don't throw the nut away as most of local strain produce eatable nuts.

Hello, interesting note and nice view of this town. The quality photo is not very good but I am happy to see this country which I don't know. It seems very beautiful. Thank for sharing.
(I love the apricots too, in Spain they are small and yellow and pretty sweet too)

I'd like to see these places are well. I have received mixed reports on whether it's safe or not to travel there.
but I definitely want to travel there...
the pic is ok, though not great (needs to be straightened?). the note is really interesting.
