Photographer’s Note
The day we met Misbah...
...was a day we met so many people...I dont think I ever met so many people in one day...we met the Afghan brothers clowning around...we also met Moazzam, the Happy Chappy and who could forget the old man...carrying the world on his shoulders...
the day we met Misbah comes by once is years...

Hello Kamran! You have a wonderful way to work on black/white, you really know how to make it special, it has a slightly brown something in it that I like. The two boys are really nice, so mature, you are right, not much time to grow up I guess comparing to our spoilt children. Great photo, I like it a lot. Best regards, Barbara.

ASAK Kamran, again a true journalistic documentary done ever so deftly and expertly. I like the tones and the textures. the expressions and the classic look in the eyes. Superb capture indeed.

Hello Kamran,
Very interesting shot, interesting contrasting expressions and good choice of bl/w to emphasize the documentary aspect. Wonderful note. "The day we met Misbah...was a day met so many people." - that's a sentence to begin a really great novel with! Wow!

Hello Kamran,
You seem to have a special talent for showing the dignity of people, young and old. Little Misbah looks so perfectly safe in the arms of his big brother. There's also a special quality to your laconic notes. Benny has a very good point about the beginning of a great novel. Now you just have to continue for 300 more pages of the same.
Kindest regards,
Gert

Lovely double portrait, the eldest one has a sweet expression while the baby looks a bit sad or unhappy - or is he just dreaming ? Anyway, this is not a photo with a zoom, you were close and it shows ! Really lovely, compliments !
Best,
Cath.

Hello Kamran,
Great expression of the two boys(brothers, I like especially the one looking away from the camera, his little mind occupied with something we cannot comprehend. I like the sharpness here which yields excellent details. The B&W helps with the overexposed sky on the left which cause a little glare to viewer. Thanks for a great photo and thoughtful note, as usual.
Cheers

Hi Kamran,
What a series of images you included here + in the comment section! I agree with Holmertz that you have a talent of showing people in a dignified manner. Regular people, poor people, but so human. This is a beautiful double portrait, a story to unfold.
cheers my friend,

Salam Kamran. Lovely testimony to brotherly love. May Allah grant them happiness and peace. So young and so vulnerable in a world where guns and dogma rule.Regards. Klaudio.

HI Kamran, this is a beautiful shot. Two brothers cuddling one another. The use of the vertical and B&W conversion both excellent choices. It is a very moody shot too, despite being outside, well done and TFS, Lisa

Hey Kamran,
That`s an excellent couple of portraits. They look kind of oldish, like it`s been shot with an old analogue, and I like the effect. Also great expressions on their faces. A photo well worth capturing.
Best regards.

Hey,
Lovely portrait of the 2 boys - and yes the eyes are a real focal point - they are so bright and stand out. Well done with that.

Hello Kamran, Nice double portrait but for me this one is more about the older boy, I keep looking into his eyes & the expression on his face, I like the way he is holding the young boy I think it shows affection & protectiveness, The little fella Misbah as Alfred said occupied with something that we can not understand, There is plenty here for us to look at & contemplate. Well done.
Cheers
