Photographer’s Note
The lower Swat River may widen to as much as 400 metres, particularly after the peak flows during May to August. This photograph is taken beyond the Malakand Pass and shows a fishmonger (taking a dip?) with his colourful, portable booth. Our party enjoyed some fish for lunch - just not here.

Hello Ken,
Even with people only visible on the distance on the picture I find this a very beautiful daily life presentation.
A testimony of life in a part of the region that is probably very difficult to visit these days (I think).
Best regards, Paul
