Photographer’s Note

Here is another one from when we were in Pakistan in 2001. It is an old snapshot of not very good quality that I scanned at 300 dpi and tried to improbe with Paint Shop Pro afterwards. I had in fact to remove digital noise both before and after resizing and I also had to enhance the colours twice. Of course this gives old´fashioned look to the photo, but believe me, it looks better than the original print.

And those cooks, preparing a wedding dinner for 300 guests, were fascinating to observe. And the food was delicious.

Hi Per. A very nice and interesting find from your earlier travel to Pakistan. I think quality is not the main concern here (and it is not all that bad in any case), I much rather be able to view this scene that looks relaxed and busy at the same time. Good portrayal of this sympathetic group of folks.
