Photographer’s Note
We jouneyed southwest from Dipalpur for 49 kilometres so as to reach Pakpattan, a town of just over one lakh population, north of the Sutlej River and the Indian border. This is the second day of the three-day Idul Fitri holiday, and the sun was setting. This seems to be the signal for people to emerge from their homes and join the congregants in the market-place.
