The DOF works pretty good here but I would have tried to include the upper part of the mountains in the background. Maybe a slightly lower angle would help. Nevertheless the perspective is interesting but the sky is missing...

I like your division of the various textured parts in this scene which are very attractive. You have handled the DOF well and the lighting on the ears makes it very interesting. Indeed a scene not to be missed. Well done!!! Regards and thanks.
