Photographer's Note

Hunza village, famous as one of the best longevity villages in the world, is located enroute of Karakoram Highway, far northern area of Pakistan. Karakoram Highway is the trade route between Pakistan and China, widened the old silkroad. This is one of the most beautiful and dramatic routes in the world where one can enjoy even the view of snow-covered high peaks and glaciers driving without climbing up.

I was a little bit surprised when I firstly saw the faces of the school girls in Hunza, because many of them looked alike European faces rather than Asian.
I later came to realize that they could be the descendants of Greek when this area was occupied by Alexander the Great in 3 century B.C.
