Photographer's Note

A view of Karakoram mountains taken during a flight from north europe to Delhi. The second highest peak of the world, the K2 is located in that mountain range following Transhimalayan region.
This is also the most heavily glaciated part of the world, outside polars regions. The biggest glacier is called Siachen. Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir-Ladakh and Xinjiang region of China meet there.

to take shots from a plane never is so easy because the quality of the window and the bluesh air. here I liked the sharpness that let us to see many details of this fantastic landscape. TFS.

Hi Miguel,
Excellent clear photo taken throug airplanr window. Well managed DOF and contrast. Only my wish is to see it in horizontal level. This can be easily modified with any photo software. Have a good day.

the most beautiful mountains in the world, am always fascinated by this kind of shots and views that can be seen from an airplane, they are never easy shots because there is always the window, the success here is excellent...have fun...

An interesting note you wrote, about a place on our little planet - that this is probably the only way I can see it: from an airplane or on TE.
Magnificent white patchs of snow, glaciers "locked" between picks, well managed from an airplane window.

fantastic.. this may be a lucky shot cause you've found a really clean window :) it's disappointing when you want to take a pic out the window but the camera keeps focusing on the smear..
in this great capture the light is intense and revealing every detail of the ground and the perfect natural colors.. congratulations and thank you!
