[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I didnt know how to start the write-up for this picture. Its a continuation of the shot Brave Young Faces. Sometimes pictures you take become too precious to you because in your mind you capture the feeling and emotions that you feel while you take those shots. This is one such shot.

Economically I was one of the privileged kids. I had the opportunity to receive education at much respected institutions. I lived in a developed country with a very well paid job, I thought I had nailed life, I thought I had it all. Before I came across these young boys, living in a rubbish tip in the midst of the elite of Pakistan, in Islamabad.

They showed me that life is not all what I thought it to be, they thought me that there is much more to it that it appears to be.

These young men make their living sorting and on-selling rubbish. And we live our life creating that rubbish. Now, I don’t know how to finish this write-up.

Hope you like the shot.

Regards
Kamran

Hi Kamran

You note is worth a reading and it certainly makes us comtemplate for a moment about life. The photo you presented tells a lot about those who are so under priviledged, who dwells among the rubbish. This photo is in stark contrast to the one I posted.

Yeah, photography need not always capture the pretty things of this world, it should also present the ugly side like what you have just done.

Thanks for reminding and sharing.

Regards
Alfred

Hello Kamran,
You have captured the atmosphere well of these underprivileged young men making a living collecting and sorting rubbish. The shot is good, your note is as well & filled with emotion but such is life. I met an older guy at the market the other day & he told me that if your healthy and happy you are a very wealthy man.
Thanks
Regards

Hi Kamran,
Life can be hard, very hard and sometimes we don't realize how lucky we are.
This is what you show very well in this scene.
