The Perl Continental Hotal in Bhurban near Murree in the foothills of the Himalyas, has got an absolutely breathtaking view of the Himalyas.

This photo was taken from the balcony of the hotel looking out to the magnifient mountain range. The most notable Himalayan highlights visible from the balcony are as follows:
- Zinda Pir
- Sudhan Gali
- Ganga Choti
- Neza Gali
- Danna
- Pirkanthi

The snow capped peaks are not quite visible in this picture but in due course I will add a few more particulalry of the peaks. I took a series of shots (10) and stitched them using Panorama Maker.

Well done as it reminds me of my visit though the opposit ground was empty and there people use to play golf, nice shot and TFS.

Hi Kamran, this is an interesting perspective. It almost looks like a fisheye lens the way you picked up 180 degrees, but without the fisheye distortion. Is this 180 degrees or did you shoot it from a corner of the building? In any case it's a neat effect. The foreground is the area with the greatest clarity in this shot. You can see the mountains, they're just not as clear with the mist. Colour is very good, but I keep coming back to that perspective. I like that a lot.

Thanks, John

Hi Kamran,
Unusual & interesting shot with good effect. When I first looked at this I also thought it was taken with a Fisheye lens except that the usual distortion from such a lens is missing, your notes said it all. I think your other shot looks quite nice as well. Good colour & a very good idea.
Regards
Santo
