Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken on "election" day in Pyongyang. A bunch of people were gathered at a local hall for the election, and there was a band, dancing etc. Everyone seemed to be dressed in their finest. This girl's mother let me photograph her.

Hello Van,
This is a very sweet portrait. The little girl is so beautiful, and I love the way her yellow rain boots match her dress. It would be interesting to see more photos from North Korea. I will add this photo to my theme of traditional Asian dress. :-)
