[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Foreign visitors are allowed a quick trip on the Pyongyang metro, one of the deepest in the world.
The two stations we saw are splendid and immaculate, especially compared to the usually rather cramped and plain ones in my home town of London.
The trains are old and slow, though looking well maintained.
At the end of the platform is a large mural painting showing the Great Leader (Pres. Kim Il Sung) and some followers.

Sorry it is not so sharp. Light was poor despite all those fancy overhead lamps, the shot was handheld... and obviously the hands just weren't steady enough!

Hey Roger

An interesting view from deep with in Pyongyang. Could be a bit sharper. Did you take a tour from Beijing? Anyhow welcome to TE and I look forward to seeing more from North Korea.
Ben

Hi Roger !
Welcome on TE !
This is a very interesting picture of that mysterious country (even with not very good quality), and I hope you will post some more.
Marc.

i agree that sharpness is a problem here. but this is such a rare view from a closed country. i certainly hope you have more shots from nk. well done!
