Photographer’s Note
This is the Machhapuchhre(fish-tail)or Annapurna 1. Looking from Sarangkot(hill top of the valley),you can see kaski valley as a foreground.
"Although the highest among them is Annapurna 1 (8,091 m), it is Machhapuchhre which dominates all others in this neighbourhood. Boastfully levitating in the skyline, the fish-tailed pinnacle is the archetypal snow-capped, needle-pointed mountain." from welcomenepal.com
For this photo,I scanned for 35mm negative film.I cropped to adjust a composition. To completed,I used curve and smart sharpen. Finally, resizing and canvas.:-)

The scan looks to have created some noise and lost some sharpness, but it is still quite evident the impressive nature of the scene. The composition is very nice, with three layers of light topped off by the quite majestic mountain top. The river and foreground provide a very good sense of scale here that makes the height of the mountain really stand out. thanks for sharing.
