I do not know the signification of this buddhist sign, but I think it is very graphic. This Nepali boy in red pullover was kind enough to stand underneath.
The Vajrayogini temple complex constructed in the mid 17th Century is located on the flanks of the hills 1.5 km north of Sankhu in the Kathmandu Valley on the ancient trade route to Tibet. The main tiered temple dedicated to the tantic goddess Vajrayogini, is surrounded by several monuments and freestanding statues.
The complex has been maintained in its original state. Large parts of the traditional settlement of Sankhu still retain their original character, with many of the monuments having been restored over the years. Sankhu is a quiet spot largely unaffected by the changes taking place elsewhere in the Valley. |

I'm actually don't think the sign is buddhist. I think it's Hindu, but I could be wrong. Great image with the little boy under the sign. with nice red pullover to match the red dot on his forehead. great clarity and sharp. colors and light very nicely balanced.

Joli mur, l'enfant s'est placé devant, mais je le trouve un peu "figé", trop attentif au photographe, et peut-être trop centré.
L'idée d'associer les couleurs ainsi est très bonne.

A very nice composition. The smiling boy and the buddist sign (I think it is a symbol of God, or something like that, as it is usually shown in the stupas. Well I don't think I added much to what you already knew about it...).
Anyway you constructed a very good shot.
