A dri or nak is the female version of the yak.

There was a yak cheese 'factory' in the village, which was about the cleanest place I've seen in Nepal as far as the processing went.

The cheese was totally delicious, especially with tibetan bread and lemon tea.

Kyanjin Gompa is the next village up from Langtang.

Taken on an Olympus 35mm print & scanned in.
