[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the camp below Yala Peak.

The snow had come in overnight, which gave the scene a monochrome look, epecially with the snow clouds still around.

We had climbed Yala Peak, setting off at 2.30 am after a bowl of hot noodle soup. (I could only eat half of eat).

We then went back down to Kanching Ghomba making a 12 1/2 hour day, very tiring but satisfying.

The peaks behind the tent are just under 7000 metres high.

Taken on a throwaway panoramic camera & scanned in.

Wow really nice view there. Your note is very useful. The picture has eyecathing colors. It must have been hard to climb this peak.

I like very much the atmosphere which there is in this one, we have the impression to be in front of a neglected camp where do not remain more than some exhausted walkers and on the point to lose heart... Congratulations and sorry for my poor english...
