Photographer’s Note
There's not only tourists visiting the Bodnath temple. This family brought food and drinks and was having a great time on this 'top of the world', with a great view over Kathmandu city. Unfortunately the sun was gone, so you miss out on the colour explosion...

I like the translucent quality of the flags here. I'd dodge the woman's face a bit. Good compo.

Hi Femke, long time no see.
Very nice documentary shot, I like the group, tehre is an obvius bond. I would have liked to see them a bit more to the right of the frame, I think it would fit better.

Very casual shot. I like such scenes. It's so colourful with all those flags and clothes. You may want to choose another angle/pov so you would not capture much of the dull, cloudy sky.

Even with the sun gone, there is still a great colorful quality to this shot, Femke. Plus a very sympathetic scene with the family picknicking in these unique surroundings, I particularly like the little one on the right. Again the prayer flags add a nice graphical touch to the view; good capture.
