We walked against the awful strong wind all the previous day to reach the airport in Jomsom - the final point of our trek around Annapurna. Everyone in the team was worried that the wind would not stop in the morning, the plane would not come and some of us would miss their flights from Kathmandu.
The first dawn lights cleared up our fears of bad weather. It was still and quiet. |
