Hi Evren,

REally nice atmosphere - it looks like there's some dust in the air (I experienced similar thing in China and it actually makes photos look even better most of the time). Maybe you could have gone a bit closer and I really had to look for that dog - it's hardly visible. However, doesn't change the fact that this is a good shot.
Cheers!

E: more great nightscapes. Subtle inclusion of the dog works great for ya... regards, c

Stupendous lighting, Evren, very painterly. Exquisite. I suppose you weer stil using the 5D there (with the 24-105 maybe...)
Wonderful work. I CANNOT understand the lack of response on TE, it is truly beyond me (when it hapens to my pics, and it does!, I just delete as I blame myself, but with you it is inexplicable.
Anyway a big bravo from me,
E

Hi Evren,
This photo reminds me of some art lessons I had at school. I remember these paintings in a style called "clair obscure" or chiaroscuro in italian if my memory's good enough. This term has haunted me for a while (such a cool name...).
This photo is exactly what I imagine of it: Something rather dark with patches of light clevely placed, things you can hardly see but are perfect the way they are.
Great shot, it feel very "mature" somehow.
Nicolas

the lighting is exquisite, looks like an old dutch masters painting. the candles conjur up a nice atmosphere

Hi Evren

Great atmosphere you have set here. A beautiful scene from Kathmandu. Good work in the low light. Well done.
Ben

Beautiful use of the light, Evren, it's like an old Dutch painting. Having all the bricks visible is essential to the atmosphere, and you have just enough exposure to see them--nice job. Regards, Ken.
