I took this one in a city called "Bahakatapur" just outside Kathmandu in Nepal.
It's a very old city, restored to it's middle ages days.

You have succeed in catching to a photo a piece of real contentment of life. Being happy doesn't depend on money or other material things. If a person has meaningful work to do for her family, even in the middle of poverty, she can be relatively happy. This lady knows this fact. Thank you for reminding of it by this beautiful shot.

Interesting subject, beautiful light and tones. The motion blur is just great making this shot really work.
I just wish the woman looked at her work instead of you... And I would crop out the leg from the right.
Great shot in any case.

Very beautiful picture of this funny lady !
The colours and the movements are very good !
Congratulations

wow! great image. i think the contrast between the sharp focus and good DOF on her vs the blurred spinning wheel makes a lot to this shot. great colors and light too;-) superb composition! bravo amihai!!

Interesting shot of daily activity Amihai. I agree with Olli - I wish she hadn't looked at the camera. But the colour is lovely, the motion blur adds a lot and it's a really nice shot.

agree with eleparc, i like the contrast of sharp and blurred.

Tenderful expression of Weaver lady is so great. It is also interesting that contrast between stillness and motion in warm light. Have you heard her words anything? Wonderful shot!

Belle image de cette vieille dame filant sa laine. /jr
