Photographer’s Note
This photo is also taken just outside of the Pasupatinath complex. One of the things I loved and admired most about Nepali people; they have so little -material wise- but they are always outside, dressed colourful, spending time with relatives and/or friends and almost always smiling! A wise lesson for us westerners!

Soft focus, but great design, cropping & pov. I may have burned the highlights a little more in APS. Well done !

nice work here, i like their dresses and looks well done, the bricks look new, but the poles they are leaning on seem very old

hi Femke, nice shot - interesting woman, I like their poses and the way you framed them with the window frame. those bricks are a bit too bright, I'd try to darken them in PS a little. anyway, nice picture

Great picture in a simple, but beautiful setting. I like their colorful dresses and friendly expression, and how they are seen leaning against those beautiful old pillars. Nice diagonal point of view, and again the trademark Nepal colors are there. Well done, Femke.

Nice shot and a very nice note, Femke. Haven't been in Nepal yet, but I had the same thought when I was un Thailand - people are so nice, kind and smiling.
And you captured nice smiles here. Well done.
Your photos from Nepal are getting better and better everyday, looking forward for more.

Nice shot Femke...
The colors are good, the clarity of the people are good.
But I would suggest maybe cropping this shot into a landscape instead of portrait (more wide then tall etc.) I would try to get in closer with the people taking up most of the frame, as I think they are the main subject here- and not so much of the building.

Excellent documentary photo with good perspective and colours. Lacks a bit of sharpness.
Well done Femke!
