Photographer’s Note
I shot this image of these two sisters in a hill town village of the Khumbu region. Although vegetation is plentiful, living conditions are basic and unfortunately some children have learned to beg for money when they see western trekkers. It's heartbreaking to see. However despite the tough conditions I was taken aback by how happy, kind and generous the Khumbu people are.

Another time a very nice picture, with good glances.
Congratulation.

Hello Spiros
I fail to understand why this picture failed to get much attention. Quite an exceptional portrait of the two sisters, with contrsting facial expressions. The backlight creates that extra impact, lighting up the fringes of her dress & her hair. Lovely!

This is an excellent shot. I am very surprised you did not get many more smiling green faces for this. The one on the top is inquisitive, the other seems so serious and threatened. Muddy faces, amazing stares, just an excellent capture.
Is it flare at the bottom of the shot, semi-circle shape, or is it dirt on the girl's dress? You could may be photoshop it out, or crop it out (but that may also remove part of the girl's hand). TFS
