You captured the children with good poses and engaging expressions, and the silouetted hut makes a great frame--I love how the roof line creates a feathered edge. (And are those the Himalayas in the background?) What I don't like is the ultra-high contrast and blown color saturation. It looks far too artificial and unnatural to my eye, especially the skin tones.

This is a really powerful image with the mountains in the background and the look of the girl at left. Great representation of "Nepal" for me.

For me this is a very impressive photo... I particularly like the Himalaya in the background and the two figures in front of it.

Agree with Sam. Fantastic shot, love the expression of the children & the composition of the shot. The only thing letting it down is the colour saturation for the skin tones.

Very nice moment, but I also agree with the previous comments about saturation.
What could be interesting is a crop of only the girl to the left.

Very nice picture. It's simply beautiful...

For me the oversaturation works well, and I don't think that real skin color of these children is very pale - they live in harsh environment with lots of sun and wind.
Red chair on blue, yellow bars on black... beautiful!

Powerful shot with the mountains behind. It would be better if you can lower the contrast. The colors seem to overpowering.

I wonder how this would work as 2 seperate images (split down the middle)?

I feel likr there's a balance to be found here between meaning and execution - the strong (almost primary colours) against a black frame make the picture and emphasise the appeal of the main subject being two children. However, the colour emphasis does spoil the naturalness of the shot. I think it could do with sharpening also.

love that shot. the composition is great and the people seem to have a different live than us. I would like to be there and to do a picture like yours. well done!

I like the composition, with the high contrast and black framing. The background of the dramatic blue sky is wonderful. Although high contrast is not best for every situation, I think it works well here.
Thanks for sharing!

A striking image: beautifull natural frame around it and a splendid and very strong blue in the background.
But colours seem somewhat exagerated and contrast too high. Maybe due to scanning of a slide ?
