Photographer's Note
Taken from the north bank of the Raptis River in southern Nepal. (Chitwan National Park at Sauhara.) Continuing the theme of looking from one country, into another: this time, Nepal into India.
Tourists are strongly advised not to cross the river at night, as tigers roam the forest on the other side. Forget about a night swim too. Marsh Muggers (the local euphenism for Crocodiles), inhabit these waters.
The blurred movement in the distance, is a farmer bringing his water buffalo back for the night.

Hello Chris,
Splendide image, j’adore ce genre de vue, les couleurs sont tout simplement incroyables !
Bien cadré, c’est rare un cadrage vertical pour ce type de vue !
Mais, là, c’est très efficace !
Beau travail
Amicalement Sébastien

Dear Chris,
A sunset but a completely mirror image, the splendid colours and two dark parts give a nice composition.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Well, really you are a adult photograph and I am like a small baby photograph !!! Seing your sun set and thinking about my set rising of yesterday, I can see really the difference between one who knows and one who don't know anythink ;-) Great sun set with fantastic colors. I think one day I shall buy a tripod to progress, well, I will have to learn too about how to use it...... Thanks for this wonderful view. Have a nice week end.

Good use of layering and silhouettes, Chris. The reflections are a fine add and the vertical format is a good choice in the way it renders this staggered composition. Very nice, also in terms of the deep saturated colors.
