Bhaktapur pots
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
One can wander for days in the back streets of Bhaktapur without getting bored. There is always something interesting to see around every corner.
This pot area is quite well known. The pots are being dried in the sun, a process which has gone on for centuries. You feel like you have taken a step back in time in this fantastic place.

Indeed, it't impossible to tell when this has been shot. Great picture, with lots of fine details and a well-balanced exposure. I've been looking through your excellent gallery, and I like your style a lot.

I like this picture, the rythmic patterns of the pots, the accent of light on the white sheet and the man and the rustic texture of the building walls. The little triangular area of the sky on top is disturbing. It is better cropped off. Then it will give you the continuous texture of the building walls.
Indeed, a step back in time. Crop perhaps a bit more.

David, I like this as it is, I don't think it needs more cropping! There's enough context this way to see both the setting and the activity. You could have an alternative image that would focus more on the two men, covering only maybe a quarter of this image, but to crop just a little merely takes away some context without giving much more closeness to the men.
