This shy young man sat behind me at a Tibetian gathering in the refugee village. Him and his friend would ever so lightly touch my clothing, but never said a word to me.

Lovely portrait with wonderful lighting, the warm colors are also part of the success of this shot too ; nothing to change there.

This is a really beautiful portrait, and as Luko has mentioned the warm lighting really sets this apart. Probably very difficult to control, but he is slightly overexposed from the left, but had you underexposed anymore, I believe you would have lost too many details, so that is not really a negative. I also would like to see his hand not being cut off, but again, this does not detract to much of a degree. This is a very, very nice intimate portrait Gloria.

This is very very nice Gloria. The colors are super and the composition good. I agree with Darren about the cropping though. It's nice to see the improved image quality you've been posting recently, keep it up :)

The pose is great. The color and detail of the clothing is wonderful.
The downside? His face is overexposed. It's just too bright for the rest of the image.
I've given you a Workshop (quick and dirty) to let you take a look and see if you agree.

Good portrait. I like the expression face of the boy.

I only thik the face is to bright. Maybe you should try to reduce the brightness a little.

Quelle jolie photo. Les couleurs sont chaudes et l'enfant est photographié dans un bon angle. Great shot Gloria.

Lovely little guy. i hadn't seen this one before. I am browsing on your foot steps..I Loved the refugee camp in Pokhara. This is a very nice framed picture, and the expression on this fellow is so nice. Great picture Gloria...

This picture looks like a studio picture. And I guess You didn't have a moving studio there. Thus I'm really impressed. I do try to shoot children sometimes and I know how difficult it is. We call them "a gold alive" cause they are moving all the time.

This is really a good example from your many portraits Gloria. The living face the well balanced colours in contrast to the dark background. From the selection of your portraits I have seen so far, I think this one is "in the lead", Well done Gloria.

very nice picture, great pose and light. I think you have done something to the background, there are some strange artifacts around the boy... anyway, it is a beautiful portrait

Just a great portrait of this little boy...and your description of what was happening only makes this that much nicer and charming. It is really very nice.

Very touching, his expression is very serene. No extra photoshopping necessary.

The simplicity of the pic catches my eye,I think little space at top & at bottom (not cropping the fingers of left hand) may improve it.
