Photographer’s Note
Taken in one of the quieter squares of Bhaktapur. She wasn't entirely happy with my shooting, but not so upset as to disallow it. I compensated her slightly after. Taken from quite a distance in harsh light, but I liked her attitude, and the fact that at her age she was still working so hard in the hot sun.

Not very well paid this one steve !
however it is a good quality street scene picture and i like above all the way this lady looks at you and the slightly blurred wooden tool in motion

Hey Steve: I've never seen this one. The sharpness here is amazing - maybe too much - but it doesn't seem unrealistic. Great light management and candid moment. c
