This is Durbar square in Patan, Katmandu valley, here you can see King Yoganarendra Malla's column, erected in 1700 A.D.
Patan Durbar square is my favourite in Nepal, the most untouched and quiet square in Katmandu valley.

Qui il tocco speciale e' la cornice attraverso cui si vede la scena. Molto ben composta, complimenti.

Nice scene through the arch. I like the soft light and colors. Good depth of field and natural framing. Regards. Latiff.

This is a very good photo of this place (I went there in 2005). I like the scene and your composition but the best idea you had was to use the door as a frame.

Great to see more of this area. I wish now that we had visited Patan, but at least we spent a long time in Bhaktapur. This is a gorgeous one...really well framed and interesting. The lighting is great, and it makes this place look fabulously interesting....which of course it is! Nice work! Regards,

I very much look forward to visiting this place in a few months time. Your view gives me reason to go, as the scene looks very culturally rich and full of wonder. I love the way you have used the window as a structural frame for your photo. Magnificent depth, colour range and sharpness. Well done Federico.

I like the way you framed the square through this arch. The traditional architecture and the old column are lovely, and there is a good amount of activity going on. Those statues close to the foreground also catch my eye. Are they animals? The sunlight was strong, but you handled it well.
