même les chiens tibétains viennent trouver refuge au Népal !
J'aime bien les compositions qui intègrent les chiens, c'est souvent amusant. Celui-ci, endormi n'échappe pas à la règle.
Il évoque peut-être symboliquement la quiétude des lieux, notamment pour les réfugiés tibétains.

Hi Didier,

very well thought! Anyone would choose a more conventional angle but here you comes with your personnel taste which pleases me very much. The inclusion of the nice sleepy dog is as essential as the monastery by itself. Great work!

L'image est belle, mais je suppose que le chien est un réfugié qui a beaucoup marché pour arrivé ici, dormir sur le pavé, ça fait sdf. Joli cadrage, et image intéressante.

The dog and the monks balance each other in the frame. Although the image is not specifically about the temple, there are interesting details to observe, like the decorative fence and the shoe rack.

Didier,
This is very common scene in many part of Asia. Dog laying sleeping in just about anywhere. I hated most when they sleep around the corner where you can't really see them and as a child, I sometimes ran around the corner and got biten a couple of times. Great capture with good details and composition. Beautiful colors.

Je rattrape une partie de mon retard.
Jolie composition avec l opposition dans la diagonale entre le chien couché et les moines en mouvement. L effet est amplifié par la perspective amenée par le grand angle. Un bon usage de cet objectif.

So what happened to this little fellow? Strange place to take a nap, even for a dog!
This is a fine street documentary, well composed with good placement of the lead-in stairs...
Good colour palette, the monks add flavour to the scene!
