Taken on the shores of Lake Phewa in Pokhara. At 827metres above sealevel Pokhara is the starting point of many treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal.

I love the boats. I think if you cropped the background out, and focused on the boats, it would be even better.

That is a lot of boats!
I notice the wooden design not so unlike what is used here in lakes and rivers...
Colourful... well composed, good repetition effect!

Cette photo est belle pour ses couleurs et le graphisme fait par les barques. J'ai tenté un WS pour ne garder que les barques et donc donner plus d'unité et de force au cliché.

it's a relatively old photo, but as I always keep on searching "the archives" I always find something interesting :) As a painter, I like this row of the boats, their soft watercolour tints, the green grass and quiet water surface in the distance. Well, the image seems perfect to me, composition-wise and colour-wise!
