Photographer’s Note

Taken about 3 or 4 days in along the Annapurna circuit. I just liked his face, and his attitude. He was relaxing in a village at the end of the day, and agreed to let me take a few photos.

An excellent portrait of a man looking back at decades of hard work. For my taste it's a bit to tightly framed, but that is my personal opinion. Otherwise very sharp and natural colors.

Another example of your ability to get an unselfconscious portrait, despite the person's awareness of the camera. The position of the man's arm and the presence of the watch, as well as the set of his mouth makes one think this man has many stories to tell. He does look tired. What has he been doing I wonder?
