Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the Thupten Tholing. The Monastery is an hour and a half north of Junbesi on the Everest Trek five days from Jiri. They do not see a lot of visitors because they are off the main trekking route. The Rinpoche and monks are very welcoming and kind. An amazing place to visit, not to mention shoot. It was one of the highlights of our trip and really worth the detour.

Hi Benjamin,
Nice portrait, it's unusual to see a monk with a smile that big. I think it needs a slight crop to remove that white line on the left.

what an expression you got there! Its like every time you see these people they smile at you, or at least you receive some kind of good energy form them, the picture transmits that energy.
