Photographer's Note
Lukla airport represents one of the quickest ways to get to the Khumbu region in Nepal (trekking in the Sagarmatha national park) and is considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world.
In 2008 this airport was renamed to Tenzing-Hillary airport in honor of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
The landing strip is built on the steep incline of a hillside. Its length is 450 m and width 20m and the runway incline is a staggering 12% and it leaves no room for errors. Airport is closed during bad weather.

Hi Ivana !
Looking at your image, I feel the altitude and the thin air flow in my lungs:) Yes, places like this one are not for everyone to enjoy by any means. Nice composition of colours and the white peaks, showing off their dominance over the less distinguish mountains, add extra tone to the frame. Thanks for sharing !!!
