Photographer’s Note
This man and his daughter were sitting outside the Sita (Janaki Mandir) temple in Janakpur. I found out that day that it was Sita's birthday, a very auspicious occasion.
Btw, thanks Philip for the tech. tips. I'll try this one when I get a little time.

Oh yes, I really like the proud way of looking of these two characters.
Proud of being parents to each other, proud of their faith, proud of teaching and learning. there's no questioning in these eyes, only certainty.
It needs a bit of brightness, blue cast adjustment and post processing such as Yitzak began to show but I would in no way cut the link between these two.

Nice catch. I love a nice landscape, but when i can see people like that... I simply love it, and this makes me want to leave even more....

A nice portrait (or double portait) showing something of the world of Nepal. Your little explanation is very good. Ilouy says it's too bad that their eyes are in shadow. There's an easy way to fix that - get the Brush tool, turn your foreground colour to grey (any shade), put the brush into Color Dodge mode, and select a small and soft brush size. Then just dab the eyes (zoom in first). It'll come out too grey, probably way too grey. So go to Edit>Fade and slide the slider to the left until you get just a lightening of the eye. This doesn't solve every possible problem, but it usually helps.

A very interesting and informative double portrait; a bit busy and - as others pointed out - dark around the faces, but nothing which couldn't be recovered.

Nice moment. Appears very dark on my monitor, which is normally lighter than others.
