| These are the same mother and baby monkeys I posted yesterday - this time mum is showing her protective instincts! Again taken at Swayambhunath Temple, Kathmandu - otherwise known as the Monkey Temple because of the hundreds of monkeys who call this sacred Buddhist site home. |

Hi there,
Yes I remember all those temple monkies eyeing off the people for any food scraps or plastic bags holding madarnines or something... And that aggressiveness really comes through here! Such a crystal clear and sharp shot - and so close, it's one of my favourites. The background is also simple so it doesnt destract.
Great shot!
Dave
Hi Marlene, I like this image, but thought it could be improved with just a little PP. Did a WS, hope you don't mind. cheers, Steve
Marlene, you captured the moment, the expression and the feelings brillantly! well done
Marlene, what did you do to her? She's angry... ha ha ha
You perfectly captured the best moment of her reaction. Very sharply taken. And knowing she's really protecting her baby... that's so emotional.
I love all your photos. Full of variety, good POV and composition. You really have the eye. You see things so uniquely and differently. Now I'm a fan of yours, so I'm putting you as one of my favorites.
All the best my friend!
Joscel
