Photographer's Note
A Nepali man and his son relaxing on a doorstep in the streets of Kathmandu. Taken without a tripod in rather low light, so I'm afraid the focus is on the soft side. But I still like it as a slice of life image.

Good expression and quite a good composition. i wish it was just a little less tightly cropped, but it is good as is. Looks as though this scan didn't capture the true colors of the Kodachrome, but the muted colors work as well. I am not bothered by the softness, a shot like this need not be razor sharp.

For the conditions and the Kodachrome64 a good one, Éva. With the black door behind it seems they appear from the past.
Sitting on the doorstep, and watching the world passing...
Agree with Darren about the tight cropping, else I like the broken diagonal composition.
A good "point and shot".

Lighting is just perfect. Good, candid shot with subtle colors and lights. This is a good shot!!
